About Deep Creek

Deep Creek is a deed restricted community on the north side of the Peace River. It is a community that has seen a tremendous amount of growth past 5-10 years.

Deep Creek sits on both sides of Sandhill Boulevard, and you will find a variety of home styles and settings, including villas, townhouses, single family homes and condominiums.

Deep Creek's location is one of its strongest assets as it has two exit points that are very close to two different I-75 exits. The shopping and restaurants of Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte are also quite convenient. Lakes are scattered throughout the community and there are also a golf course and public tennis courts.

Deep Creek is divided in two sections: Section 20 and Section 23 governed very well by two POAs and board of directors. The annual assessment fees are in the low $100 range.

The Deep Creek Preserve borders the northeastern edge of the Deep Creek community. The Preserve is a 2000-acre park with miles of walking trails through the longleaf pine forest. In the future, this preserve may also include campsites and horse trails.

The road system in Deep Creek is being re-paved starting 2015 and these brand new roads looks beautiful. Recently stretches of side walks has been added to the community providing safe passage to children and adults with much new activity for people enjoying to exercise, i.e. walking or running.

Houses in Deep Creek range from 35 years old to new construction. Most of the homes were built either in the 1980s or the 2000s. All types of architecture can be seen throughout the community. Many of Deep Creek's residents utilize the quick highway access to commute to Sarasota, Fort Myers or Venice with little trouble.

All properties are connected to public water and sewer systems.

Listing prices of homes in Deep Creek range from $80,000 to $550,000. Most fall in the $120,000 to $250,000 price range. Non-lake view buildable lots start at about $8,500 and lake view build-able lots start at around $20,000.

Rental homes are in demand but supply is short. Rental homes is in the area of $1,200 – $3,500 per month.
